NHBF Business Awards winners revealed

Hair, beauty and barbering businesses from across the UK have been honoured at the National Hair & Beauty Federation (NHBF) Business Awards 2019.

Nominees and guests were invited to an exclusive awards evening and drinks reception to find out the winners, which took place at the St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel in November.

For 2019, the Business Awards attracted high calibre entries competing across twelve different categories. Winners included: ‘Best Independent Beauty Salon', Tranquillity Beauty Studio; ‘Best Apprentice', Owen Davies of Saks Chester; ‘Best Community Support' (in association with the Hair and Beauty Charity), Barrie Stephen and ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Hair or Beauty Industry', Tina Parsons of Burghley Hair-Beauty-Academy.

The news of these new champions also came alongside an announcement made at the ceremony that the former NHF/NBF will now be known under one name – the National Hair & Beauty Federation (NHBF). This decision comes after a successful first year for the NBF who provide support to beauty businesses.
