Charity fundraising success at this year’s Beauty UK

Beauty UK returned for 2019 to the NEC, Birmingham this May, with the show hosting a series of fundraising initiatives throughout the two-day event.

The ever-popular Chill Out Zone took place within Holistic Health, offering visitors the chance to trial therapies that they may be considering training in, whilst raising money for worthy causes. This year, a total of £1,925 was received to be split equally between two charities, Healing Hands Network and Help Harry Help Others.

In addition, the Healing Hands Network raised an extra £900 on their stand during the exhibition and welcomed three new members to its organisation. At this year's Hair UK, The Hairdressers' Charity supported the Hair Stage, which featured a host of guest artists showcasing their hairstyling talent, and garnered a total of £2,111 from visitor donations. As the official charity for the hairdressing industry, the organisation provides financial assistance and support for hairdressers in need.
