Business awards finalists announced

The finalists for this year's NHF/NBF prestigious business awards have been announced, with the shortlists whittled down from a number of hair, beauty and barbering businesses across the UK.

Categories in this year's awards include, Best Independent Hair Salon or Barbershop (small, turnover below £200,000), sponsored by Premier Software; Best Independent Hair Salon or Barbershop (large, turnover above £200,000), sponsored by Loop HR; Best Innovation, sponsored by Global Payments; Best Apprentice, sponsored by Shedul; and Best Community Support, in association with the Hairdressers' Charity.

Several new categories have been added for 2019, including; Best Social Media, sponsored by City & Guilds; Best Salon Design and Best Independent Beauty Salon, both sponsored by Shedul; and Outstanding Contribution to the Hair or Beauty Industry, sponsored by Phorest Software.

Competition winners will be crowned at an awards evening on November 17th, to be held at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, London. NHF/NBF President, Ian Egerton said: “Our expert panel of judges had a tough job selecting this year's finalists from the hundreds of entries we received. We have continued to attract an extremely high caliber of entries and they have gone from strength-to-strength. We can't wait to showcase the success of some of the best hair, beauty and barbering businesses."
