Mineral make-up brand, jane iredale recently hosted their 2017 College Programme Make-Up Competition.

The students then went head to head in a live final where they showcased their artistic creations with jane iredale's judging panel comprised of jane iredale Brand Manager, Anushka Patel; the Head of College Programme, Jennifer Edwards, and make-up artist Melissa Constantindes who also hosts the popular make-up show,100% hotter.
The winning student was Anna Lumsden, who received a make-up kit it worth £1,000 to help kick-start her career and her college, Guildford, also received £1,000 worth of jane iredale's mineral cosmetic products to use as a training tool.
Commenting on her inspiration behind the idea, Anna said: “I selected peacocks because they are my favourite bird. I love working with colour, so the peacock with its vibrant and uniquely patterned feathers provided the ideal inspiration for my look'.
Brand Manager, Anushka Patel added: “We are extremely impressed with the calibre of entries this year; the interpretation of this year's theme has been fantastic. It's encouraging to see so much young talent within our industry, and the student competition is a really great way for us to showcase and celebrate that talent.”
