NEC final for WorldSkills UK
At the three-day event, young people are encouraged to try ‘bite sized' hands-on experiential activities to enable them to discover what they are good at and what they enjoy. In addition, a programme of more than 80 Spotlight talks allows young people to hear directly from and be inspired by those working in their chosen professions, about their own real-life experiences.
WorldSkills UK has its regional heat at this month's BeautyUK event, and winners from the final will have the opportunity of being selected to represent TeamUK in international competitions.
“The WorldSkills UK competitions cycle shows just how talented today's young people are, and businesses can only benefit from encouraging future entries by their own employees,” says Ross Maloney, Chief Executive of Find a Future, the organisation which brings together WorldSkills UK, The Skills Show and The Skills Show Experience.
