Holistic Health 2008 is taking place at Donington Park Exhibition Centre, in the East Midlands, on Sunday 21st – Monday 22nd September 2008.

 

Now in its fourth year, Holistic Health 2008 will support the holistic and complementary therapy market, offering exhibitors the opportunity to showcase the latest products, treatment launches, equipment innovations and training courses.

 

With a large emphasis on learning, Holistic Health 2008 will host the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) extensive Training Congress incorporating seminars and workshops, all of which are accredited for points towards your certificate of Continual Personal & Professional Development (CPPD).

 

The event will also feature a Training Village, an area dedicated to showcasing the latest in holistic and complementary therapy courses available, along with the immensely popular Chill Out Zone.

 

Holistic Health 2007 - a massive success

Holistic Health 2007 attracted 5,980 attendees, an increase of 30% on the previous years’ figure.

 

This was the largest in the event’s history, with over 100 exhibitors showcasing the latest treatment innovations, product launches and equipment. In addition, the Training Village enable visitors to learn about training opportunities, pick up prospectuses and chat to educators about opportunities to learn new therapies.

 

The exhibition was complemented by the FHT’s Training Congress, which hosted 20 seminars and six workshops, presented by some of the sector’s most esteemed speakers, all accredited for CPPD purposes.

 

Holistic Health also hosted the annual Chill Out Zone, an area of the show dedicated to offering visitors the opportunity to try a taster treatment which they may be considering introducing to their practice. All therapies in the Chill Out Zone were carried out by volunteer therapists and in total £3,620 was raised for the Rainbows Childrens Hospice in Leicestershire, which included kind donations of £290 from the UK Reiki Federation and over £118 from Shrewsbury Healthcare.
