British skincare brand celebrates 30th anniversary

A British-born skincare brand is preparing to celebrate its 30 year anniversary.

Founded in 1990, SBC Skincare initially launched with a trio of professional-use moisturising skin care gels – Collagen, Vitamin E and Aloe Vera.

During the past three decades, the range has expanded and comprises of 25 botanical collections, as well as home retail products. SBC Skincare, which still remains an independent, family-run business, is also now available in 30 countries and has added numerous awards wins to its name.

Although the brand's anniversary coincides with the difficult period brought on by the coronavirus pandemic, the team has remained active behind the scenes.

Earlier this spring, SBC switched from manufacturing some of its best-selling products to developing and producing a new hand sanitiser, utilising existing stock of raw ingredients and bottles. The Cleanse & Protect Hand Sanitising Gel (100ml and 300ml) launched in March, with a 500ml version released in April.

To further commemorate its 30th anniversary, the brand has introduced the Vitamin C Super Boost Serum for face and body and the new Hydra-Collagen & Black Pearl collection, the latter of which combines the nourishing properties of marine collagen and black pearl to improve the appearance of dry, dehydrated and mature skin.
